Hello! My name is Misty. I am a mom to two boys, ages 18 and 14. I am married and have three step-children, ages 17, 21, and 27. I enjoy reading and traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains. I attended Liberty University and have a degree in Biblical Studies.

WHY START A BLOG ?
Several years ago, my seemingly perfect life started to fall apart. I had accepted Jesus when I was 14 years old, but I had no clue what a real relationship with Him was all about. I reconnected with some childhood friends, and we started a Bible study. It was through reading, studying, and meditating on God’s Word that I found and accepted His never-ending love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. He is using my flaws, weaknesses, strengths, and struggles to help other women see that there is redemption and forgiveness through Jesus. My life is still not perfect, but I live by grace each and every day.
